Researchers and students who are involved in animal handling must be trained and qualified to use animals in a humane and ethical manner. USM Animal Facility offers all personnel who work with animals in research and teaching a complete experimental animal handling training module. This hands-on animal handling training will equip all personnel with appropriate skills prior to working with laboratory animals.

The USM IACUC also regularly conducts seminars and talks on Animal Ethics.  Please contact the secretariat if you wish to organize a talk on Animal Ethics.

* Only the complete hardcopy of application form that is received before the deadline will be reviewed in the upcoming IACUC meeting.  Protocols received after this deadline will be reviewed in the following meeting.
