Researchers and students who are involved in animal handling must be trained and qualified to use animals in a humane and ethical manner. USM Animal Facility offers all personnel who work with animals in research and teaching a complete experimental animal handling training module. This hands-on animal handling training will equip all personnel with appropriate skills prior to working with laboratory animals.
